I've heard of people doing that with stolen garden gnomes and then sending pictures of the gnome back to it's owners as sort of, "wish you were here" postcards of a gnome on holidays. I'd like to see the reaction the spud would cause when customs people come accross it. "Failure", world tour. You realise of course that you’ll have to a world tour with the spud and photograph it in various famous locations.
