I don’t care what stage of life I’m in.

At one point, I always feel like this ol’Hudson I saw today on the side of the road. (No Photoshop, people, but surely some crazy welder was involved.)

Just sitting there in a field wondering–“Now, how exactly Miss Smartypants–just how in hell did you end up here?”

And, Hey!

Psst!

You, there, walking?

Driving?

ANYone?

Which way is forward?

  1. It’s hard to tell which way is forward when you’re beside yourself.

But as the embroidered pillow in the shop window said: ” Don’t look back, you’re not going there”.

Maybe standing still is ok for a while.

  2. That is an amazing photo.

Forward? One small step after the other . . .

  3. Hey, BL! I love that embroidered pillow inscription but I’m not sure it’s true! I do think standing still is ok, too, but it’s a little like those moments when you are on a train stopped at a station and when the train pulls away, it’s so slowly and silently that all of a sudden the station seems to be moving and not the train? Anyway I wasn’t happy with the words of this entry, although I loved the photo. I’m putting it up again today with the words I put in the 5X7 cards I just ordered.

Tysdaddy, I am putting one small step after another day after day in this bloggittysphere. Whether it’s forward or not, I am less sure. But, it seems true, so that’s all I can go on. EWwwwww…deep thoughts!

  4. Once the past has happened there is no going back. Therefore, the only way is forward. Forward is the experiencing of the ever present now.

Every time I see old junked cars I think about how it was once someone’s desire to own it. There it sat in a showroom all shiney and new, until that someone took out a loan and bought it. Drove it, loved it and finally sold it or junked it.

  5. Have you ever seen Herbie?

  6. No going back to specific events, true. But, sometimes, we are in patterns that aren’t exactly time-stamped. What as your favorite ever car, Razz?

Sanity, you make me laugh. Yes, I’ve seen Herbie!

  7. … that is Herbie’s great Uncle before the face lift, tummy tuck, sun bed and lipo.

  8. It looks like a “push you pull me” from Dr. Dolittle; or is it a “push me pull you”?

  9. Push me pull you…just looked it up! YOu’re Back!!

Sanity: it is herbaceous as well.
