The last time I took photos of Boston traffic was October, 2008.  Back then, this dizzing street scene captured yesterday, June 4, 2009 was going on but just not on a traffic island.  It  was going on inside the building to the right in the background, The Federal Reserve Bank.

The pall over my finances, the nation’s finances as well as the worlds’ was palpable,  chaotic and frightening.

What to do?  Where to hide?  What street do I cross and not end up flattened?

Yesterday, I captured two bewildered shopping tourists.  In October, 2008, we were all standing there wondering how to cross the street intact.

  1. I like this image because I know that feeling of paralysis that comes over me when everything around me is changing/moving too fast.
